Terms of service

ReviewIt is a private site for a small group of friends to review films, television, games, books and music. By signing in you agree to what follows. It is short on purpose.

Who can use it

Accounts exist by invitation only. Each member may invite up to two other people. An invitation can be changed while it is unused, and is fixed once the person it was sent to signs in. Do not share your account with anyone else.

What you post

Your reviews remain yours. By posting them you allow the site to store them and show them to the other members, which is the entire point of it. That permission ends when you delete the review or your account.

Please do not post:

• anything unlawful, or anything that harasses or defames somebody
• anyone else's private information
• content you do not have the right to post

Treat other members' reviews as private to the group. They were written for a handful of friends, not for the internet.

The service comes as it is

This is a personal project run for free. It carries no guarantee of being available, no guarantee that nothing is lost, and no warranty of any kind. It may change or be shut down at any time. Keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose.

Information about titles and cover art comes from OMDb, RAWG, Google Books, iTunes and Spotify, and may be wrong or incomplete. Where to watch or listen comes from TMDB and JustWatch. Those services are not affiliated with this site.

Ending your account

You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time. Accounts that break these terms may be removed, along with the invitation chain that follows from them if that becomes necessary.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa.
